Moving Away is a game about change.

Play as Anahí, a girl who undertakes a perilous journey to search help for her people, her tribe, her family. The shadow of the white man is coming to their land, and she needs to climb the mountain and find the Sacred Spirit of the Bird , and conquer their power to save her people.

Moving Away is a puzzle-platformer game (flirting a bit with some metroidvania aspects) for Windows, that can be played with keyboard and gamepad (preferably the Xbox controller). It was made for “My First Game Jam”, in roughly two weeks (real life got in the way, so count around 9 to 10 days of actual design and development, more 1 day and a half for trailer, screenshots and the neat design document you can download if you like). The game if free, and will always be (at least this version), but you can support me and buy me a coffee if you want.

Obs: There are still some bugs in the game. If you get stuck somewhere, please press R (Y on the gamepad, or the equivalent) to restart the room.

Thank you for downloading and playing this game.

I really hope you enjoy it.

I like the visuals a lot! I had a lot of trouble with timing the jumps right to get the extra jumps. But neat!
